Ozone (activated oxygen) produced at 185nms eradicates the effects of noxious substances from the atmosphere. Activated oxygen destroys body odours, chemical and organic smells and eliminates hydrocarbon smells caused by fires or smoking. Ozone is heavier than air and to be more effective the units must be positioned on the wall or ceiling, etc. Ozone has no limitations to its effectiveness and will reach every surface of the room even with small air circulation.
Ozone will purify smelly air by attacking the molecules of these malodorous substances. The intensity of the odour is reduced by chemical oxidation to whatever degree is required by ozone.
